Preparation
Prepare MoreLogin and the Keystone wallet (using Keystone 3 Pro as an example).
Ensure both are updated to the latest version.
After opening MoreLogin, first configure the profile and wallet in the user interface.
Procedure
1. First, launch MoreLogin, then go to the profile list page, find the corresponding profile, and click "Edit Profile."
2. On the “Edit Profile” page, select “Advanced Settings” and find “Port Scan Protection.” Click the “Disable” button.
3. In "Extensions & Applications," search for the Backpack wallet, then assign it to the specified profile. For extension installation, refer to "Add Extensions."
4. After linking the Keystone wallet to the computer, launch the browser (USB connection is recommended).
5. In the browser profile, open the Backpack wallet, select "Import Wallet," and choose "Hardware Wallet" for import.
6. Once the hardware wallet is found, click to match the hardware wallet. After matching, select the account. Be sure to match each profile with the hardware wallet account to avoid wallet mix-up due to incorrect profile matching.
7. After successfully connecting the Backpack wallet with the hardware wallet in the browser profile, all on-chain operations will require authorization from the hardware wallet. The first time you use it, you will need to enter the hardware wallet password, but subsequent operations will only require you to click "Confirm" on the hardware wallet without entering the password again.
By integrating the browser with your hardware wallet in this way, every operation requires hardware wallet confirmation, significantly enhancing asset security. The convenience of the MoreLogin browser and the robust security of the hardware wallet perfectly complement one another.
For security, MoreLogin by default stores plugin data locally with end-to-end encryption, encrypting the user's cookies and account passwords. We are continuously strengthening our security measures.
In the world of WEB3—a dark forest where you’re either being hacked or on the path to being hacked—security is endless. We recommend that for storing critical browser profiles, you use the browser in conjunction with a hardware wallet.
