3. Next, under Proxy settings, this is where you’ll need to copy the details of your proxy from Webshare and paste them here.

First, choose your Proxy type which will be SOCKS5 or HTTP (Webshare supports these two protocols).

4. For the rest of the fields, first you need to obtain your Webshare proxies if you haven’t already. Navigate to Webshare and create a new account (or log in to your existing one). All new users receive 10 proxies for free!

After setting up your Webshare account, you will be presented with your proxy list.

The details you need to copy are the following:

  • Proxy Address

  • Port

  • Username

  • Password

5. Now, go back to BitBrowser’s Proxy settings screen and paste the details in the appropriate fields:

  • Proxy server:Format description - Proxy Address:Port (e.g. 171.122.223.145:5969)

  • Proxy account - Username (e.g. wgxxraay)

  • Proxy password - Password (e.g. 4aad1pdhdhij)

6. Before finishing the configuration, be sure to click Proxy detection which will test your connection to ensure it’s stable and active before browsing. If everything is in order - you will receive a green success message.

7. After passing the test, simply click OK, navigate back to your browser profiles and click Start to begin safely browsing with Webshare’s proxy connection!
